Jean B. Kolodzik Memorial
Scholarship Fund
This year Winnebago Community Credit Union will award one (1) $500 renewable scholarship from the Jean B. Kolodzik Memorial Scholarship Fund to one graduating senior. The Board of Directors decides on the recipient of this scholarship from schools in the surrounding area.
Here are the criteria that have to be met in order to qualify for the scholarship:
- Applicant must be a Winnebago Community Credit Union Member or have a parent that is a member
- Applicant must attend college or a technical college
- Applicant must have two letters of reference (75 words or less)—one letter from a teacher and one letter from a counselor
- Applicant must complete the scholarship application
- Applicant must submit an original, typewritten essay
This year’s question: “How will continuing your education affect your future?”
- Applicant must submit the Community Involvement Form
- Handwritten or incomplete applications will be disqualified. Failure to comply with the requirements of submission may result in disqualification
The $500 scholarship will be given to each student upon presentation of first semester grades. The student must carry a grade point average of 2.0 or better to be eligible to receive the money.
